For this run your hares are sparing no effort to provide the pack with an autumn stroll, hike or sprint through the quiet of the Mouans-Saroux forests. Lonely’s arrival by midnight Friday night guarantees a runners’ hare to sweep up over exuberant front runners & survivors of last runs’ marathons, threatening rain storms & BM confusion.
Our birthday harriette has spent the last year dreaming of this moment.
DIRECTIONS:
Driving from A8/ exit 42 toward Grasse/Mougins/Mouans-Sartoux
700 m At Rond-Point de la Liberation, take the 2nd exit onto D6185 heading to Grasse/Mougins/Sophia-Antipolis/Valbonne/Mouans-Sartoux for 5.0 km
Take the D409 exit toward Mouans-Sartoux/La Roquette-sur-Siagne/Pégomas 180 m At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Route de la Roquette/D409 650 m
Head southwest on Route de la Roquette/D409 toward Chemin des Peyroues 500 m and at the first smallish roundabout, take the 1st exit – or right turn – onto Avenue de la Quiéra 450m
Head north toward Chemin du Puits du Plan 45 m
At the roundabout take the 4th exit (Hotel & Restaurant Louisianne will be on right) direction Cimitiere Paysager onto Chemin du Plan Sarrain.
Continue to the entry point to the forest and park on right. 600 m.
SNCF TRAIN STATION Mouans-Sartoux
Trains between Cannes/Grasse are not running before 11 Dec’17 so ignore this option.
If planning to arrive by train contact a hare for support/pickup.
